>>5201033>>5201034>>5201041>>5201042The travel back to the forest was a lot smoother than when you reached Albion, now that you took that ball out of your feet and got some spare clothes from Hyde, you finally feel like you have some sence of dignity back.
Opting to visit Jodi, you let Hyde hop on Gunpowder as you're accompanied by the harpy babies. The knights didn't even bother coming after you with the amount of work they have to do in Albion, that will probably be the last you'll hear of Serpico and Farnese for the remaining days.
And you can thank God for that! Sleeping with someone who isn't destroying your body everyday does wonders for your healing! By the time you reach Jodi's location, Gunpowder has given you enough energy to revitalize your body into a presentable state. Thankfully none of your molars went out while Mozgus hit you, or your front teeth, for that matter.
"Vlad! Thank you so much for coming here for me!" Jodi jumps to hug you once you get to the deserted village, with the jealous stare of Hyde being right behind her as he looked down at you.
"Uh... Good to see you too, Jodi. What's this about a bright light?" You skip the pleasantries before the hunter shoots a marble through your skull.
"Do you remember how we were all caught sleeping thanks to the spiders? I believe they were taking some energy from somewhere down here. I thought it was due to a magician, but all the bodies here look recent, and none of 'em look out the ordinary. And that's when I saw it: A blinding light on top of the hill. There's a rock formation that looks almost man made with how sculpted the rocks look. Think you could help me figure out what those mean?"
Going out with Jodi and leaving Hyde with the birds, you squint your eyes after seeing the beacon of elementals gathering around the rocks. That can only mean that this was once a place used for magical gatherings. Perhaps an ancient civilization used the location as a temple, using elves and other magical creatures to enshrine the lands and the living.
A bunch of evil spiders and the age of darkness getting in here probably reduced the original strength of the spirits here, but this is a rare sight to see regardless. A treasure asking to be dug.
