Instincts tell them to flee, faster and more wildly than before in order to escape the serpentine concept which snakes around them and nips at them. How is it that their surroundings can change so quickly, but be identical in spite of it?
And that sound... Their head hurts, it stings worse than the aching of their tiny, tired body.
When they're 'out,' they hastily stand upright and run, not even checking to notice they've lost everything in their possession.
They need to be on alert. They won't let anyone catch them off-guard. They want to go home. They want to find someone big and strong who can solve their problems and make sure no one hurts them anymore. Is that too much to ask for?
