Anyhow, some tactical notes of my own:
Assault weapons seem somewhat weak; the -2 to offense in range 2 and 3 engagements is gonna be very painful when that crops up in the city fighting, since everyone also has tons of cover there, and while multi attack 2 is a bit better then the blast d2 the grenades get it isnt that much better; grenades will get 1.5 hits for every 2 hits of the assault weapons. You cant use both at the same time so its a pretty meh sidegrade since everyone gets grenades for free. The preferred close combat weapon is clearly the flamethrower, and I'd probably keep the machine gun for utility and general punch if you're able to.
As for the plan, I generally agree with Wester. I'd suggest putting the main force of dragoons and tanjs both to assault Kobberhus, and then use the strip of open ground to the west of Kobberhus to facilitate maneuvers. Just keep leapfrogging and clearing one strip of the city at the time until we get to the castle, at which point we can launch an assault on the airship which is the most important objective. I again strongly suggest we concentrate the majority of dragoons and tanks, aswell as significant recon assets here to drown the enemy infantry and AT assets with our firepower. Even if the neutral forces turn out to not want anything to do with us we should still be able to pull this maneuver, with them providing a secure flank against enemy counterattacks.
