“An Archwizard? Truly, a real, living, breathing Archwizard?!' the man a few years younger than you from the sound of his voice says, throwing his hood back and looking up to you like several beings from your planet have when showing your physical or magical prowess. “Please, teach me! Show me how to become an Archwizard too!”
“...Huh?” you reply, completely shocked. You weren't quite expecting all this. But the younger man looks to you with wide, expectant eyes, like you've seen how some people look at your sisters, especially Caulifla after she saves someone. “You want to be MY apprentice? What about your attack on this place?”
“When my master was killed, all I had left was vengeance. I was ready to throw everything away in an attempt to avenge him.” the man says, then looks down at his hand. “Until he killed me and I saw my master in the afterlife. My master gave me one last lesson before my Kuriborhn revived me, giving me a second chance at life. So I'm done throwing my life away, I'm going to live life to the fullest! At least, if I'm allowed to leave this place.”
“You did cause quite a lot of damage.” your old man replies, looking past him at the room. Which you do as well, seeing hundreds of scorched craters from explosions. However, all of them are far too small to be your parents' doing, must be the exploding creatures' blasts. And while you're not sure of the total monetary value of the damage, you're sure it is quite a lot.
“Hmmmm. Well, if I'm going to take you on, you gotta show me what you can do first.” you say, deciding that you'll at least see what he's capable of. But as his eyes widen in excitement, you hold up a hand. “Hold on. We're going to have some rules first, and not here. We're taking this somewhere else.”
“Sure, but... But if I leave, the Kuriboh I've summoned will go feral.” he says, gesturing to the flood of fuzzball monsters still going into the ship. “I could detonate them all before going, but....”
“The explosion, right?” you reply, turning to your father. “That's fine, I can transport them all with you as well. I'll just need a moment to get my spell ready.”
“You can really transport them all?” he asks, sounding shocked. “You really are an Archwizard.”
“Of course.” you reply, kneeling down and placing your hand on the metal floor, focusing. It takes you a moment to remember the exact dimensions of the crystal transporter, recreating it's size and shape in crystal beneath the four of you. Your mother and father don't react, but the young man's jaw drops, kneeling down and looking at the crystals closer. Then, once it's done, you stand back up, readying yourself.
