When I stepped inside the shrine, it was a different story.
[SHENNU PRIEST] "BWAAAAAH!"
[OLD CAPTAIN] "W-WOLFMAN! THE REAL WOLFMAN! NO! Wait! He's young again!"
[SHENNU PRIEST] "Wh... What in the world?! You... you actually did it?! You defeated him?!"
'In a manner of speaking.' I said, watching as the Demigod child sniffed the air in their shrine.
[OLD CAPTAIN] "So... so you did." The captain began, eyeing the Demigod now eating the fish he had caught earlier today from right out of a cooler. "Then..."
'Then it's time for both of you to hold up your end of the bargain. I helped the problem you people faced, now I want you to help me summon Shennu.'
The two glanced to each other again, with the captain staring briefly at his beer, wondering if he was hallucinating from it.
'Gentlemen, please. I beseech you, the divine dragon will undoubtedly trust someone like me who has calmed her own Demigod down. Now give me this one chance to see her, so I can calm her too, and stop your troubles for good.'
[SHENNU PRIEST] "Y-Yes! Absolutely! I didn't think you'd actually do it! I would have forgotten about you by tomorrow, but you came through! Then, we promise, we will help! Isn't that right, captain?"
[OLD CAPTAIN] "...Welp... huuuuu... Fine. I might end up dying if Shennu attacks while I'm sailing y'all there, but... I guess it's worth a shot. If not, guess I'll have to settle for going down with my ship."
[SHENNU PRIEST] "Good. Then let us make haste. We should set sail immediately."
[OLD CAPTAIN] "And stop eating my dagum dinner, pup!"
[WOLFBOY] "Smmhhhrrryy!"
