“Calm down Ubo, I'm going to talk to him and see what's going on.” you tell your friend, reaching out telepathically to the emperor's father. “King Cold.”
“Karn.” comes the icy reply. “I take it that's you with the Kryptonian?”
“Yes, and my daughter's here as well.” you reply, emphasizing that point. “Is something wrong?”
“You and I both know.” he replies, confirming for you that it was indeed King Cold that had destroyed Ubo's people's homeworld. “The Kryptonians are dangerous. Even more so than your own people. Did you not sense that surge of power from him earlier?”
“Of course I did, I was right there when Grand Elder Guru unlocked his potential.” you reply, sensing King Cold's sudden spike of anger through the link. “I promised him that his planet would be brought back.”
“I will NOT allow it!” comes the emperor's father's furious reply, sensing his powerlevel spiking out in space to match his sudden rage. “The Kryptonian race cannot be allowed to repopulate!”
“They're not coming back, the dragon can't restore them, Grand Elder Guru said that only one person per wish could be revived.” you reply, sensing King Cold's anger immediately fading as his curiosity takes over. “He wants his homeworld back, after it was taken away from him before he ever got the chance to see it.”
“You better watch your tone, Saiyan.” King Cold replies, his furious anger replaced with icy hate. “I would advise you to choose your sides carefully.”
“Funny, I was about to tell YOU the same thing.” you say, sensing the ancient being's sudden shock.
