The next day you were back to forging the fortune increasing artifacts for your fox family. You try to make them as compact and useful as possible, emulating the permanent nature of the Lucky Watch more than the temporary anti-curse Ayane's Lucky-Lucky Brooch provided. All while keeping that samey and uncreative steampunk aesthetic. Just like you liked it.
Ayane was on her break. Usually she'd either watch you work, have a steamy moment with you, or take a nap, however this time her initial desire was put aside as she had something to ask. It began when she glanced over your shoulder, noticing some of the plans for the boiler room and the process to make some a certain type of ingot.
"It seems like you're hard at work, my love." Her large orbs press against your arm as she looked over your shoulder. Even her tails made for amazing stress relief.
"And I can say the same for you." You respond, seeing her sweating body but still not minding the feeling.
"If you're making something that could be sold, I might be able to find some buyers." She said. You recall Ruby boasting about her own 'Centrian connections', though that turned out to be mostly an exaggeration. "Master, if it isn't too much trouble, might I ask what you're making?"
"Sure." You weren't really hiding it from anyone. You open a nearby workbench, taking out an ingot and handing it to her. "Here's the final product."
She inspect for for a second, likely using Appraisal. Her eyes go wide. "M-Master! This is-!"
"Yup. It's aluminum."
"Where- how did- I'm..." She looks like she's about to pass out, but before you can do anything she collects herself into talking coherently. "Master, this is amazing! I didn't know you were a legendary alchemist! No, this goes beyond that!"
"It's no mere alchemy, dear. Indeed, this is what's simply known as the wonderful magic of industry." You say smugly.
"We're going to be rich! My Master is amazing! Amazing!" You swear you see sparkles in her eyes. After she continues to gush about you and talk your ear off about how to best sell this and what to invest it in, she eventually started to calm down.
"I'm assuming cryolite and bauxite are used to create it, yes?" Ayane guessed, likely connecting the dots with your request to her father's shipping company.
"Yeah. You catch on quick." You respond to your clever fox.
Your vixen wife looked at the ring on her finger, the intricate design of a fox's tail glistening, you could sense the fortune emanating from it. Then she stared at you. "My loyalty is to you first and foremost, Master. My husband, my warming fire. I won't share this with anyone, not even if my father asked me himself, if you don't want me to." There was devotion in her tone.
