TalOS walked into a massive chamber which coated every wall with iconography of some type. His eye studied it and saw that the material was of the same metal he was constantly taking souls from. While TalOS would say that everything he had seen until now was artwork this was beyond that of a mortal’s hand.
Epic battles which had happened several epochs before along with the ascension of the Aeldar to their great empire. There was also the ruination of their Empire with what looked to be some being that they did not dare depict in some way. Yet the evidence of its deeds were strung across the metallic canvas for TalOS to see.
“You walk upon sacred ground, Monster!” Declared an Eldar who stood in the middle of this great and epic room. Their robes were ornate beyond anything TalOS had previously seen and her soul was very much attuned with the Warp, making her a psyker.
“Sacred to whatever Gods you have lost.” TalOS pointed out as he gestured to a wall depicting their downfall, “Look upon these etchings and tell me the fall from grace you have had. And unlike you, we Humanity were Chosen to ascend once again!”
“Chosen by what, the Gods of the Dead Ones!” Shouted the Eldar as she looked to be full of furry, “Do you know what forces you serve human? You stink of the Void Dragon’s influence, you will be betrayed just like he has done to those before!”
A heavy word like there, betrayal. But as TalOS heard those words he could only remember the annoyance the Machine God had when he was forced to participate, “You do not realize what you speak, Xenos! The Machine God has chosen Humanity to be his successors and servants within the Cosmos! If he truly wished us dead then the Cult Mechanicus would never have been spawned on Mars. And your fate would not be as clear as the stars which dance in the void.”
The Eldar knew what TalOS was trying to do, buying himself time as he quickly closed the gap between the two of them. In a single thrust the Eldar crossed the field between the two of them and struck, but in that moment their supernatural grace was sundered by the nullification of their existence.
With a swing of his Omnissian Axe he sent the Xenos flying across the room. Such an attack would have split them in two but they had swiftly blocked the incoming attack with the flattened part of their blade.
