“I agree. We can save dealing with problems for another day.” your wife replies, turning back to Marron. “For now, let's not worry about it. And focus on what's important: you're home now.”
“Home...” Marron says, eyes widening. And, for the third time today, you see her eyes starting to water. She hastily raises her sleeve to her eyes, wiping them with the fabric of her jacket and smiling at your wife. “I...I don't know what to say.”
“Then don't say anything. Now, let's go. What do you want to see first?” your wife asks her, Marron looking from her to you, confused. Right, she doesn't know what your world has to offer.
