>>5208470“Now THAT’S a surprise! Come on Tarble, keep at it! You can do this!” you cheer. You… then feel a bit of the munchies creeping up on you, and you check around for some snacks. Cocoa’s got popcorn. Popcorn, yes, good. You politely ask her for some, and use telekinesis to march them to your mouth. After you’re done, she ruffles your hair a bit, teasingly calling you a dork. That may be so, but you’re a dork with some good snacks.
https://youtu.be/0JjnTTASvYEVegeta still doesn’t seem like he’s taking things too seriously just yet, but he is much more engaged with the battle now, not yet back in his Primal state, but actually trading blows with Tarble. While the younger Saiyan does have substantially more power at his disposal, and surprisingly fairly good control over the form for now, it remains to be seen if it’s enough to really close the gap. The bigger issue for Tarble is one that all Oozaru kinda have, much more mass to move around. While his speed’s kept up with his power increase, he’s a bigger target, and Vegeta’s a smaller one. He needs something else to really get this done.
That’s when dad finally has finished recovering his Ki, and he powers right back up into Super Saiyan 3, blasting into combat and… oh, clever! “RAIO-KEN!” Goku yells as his aura blazes and sparks even higher, the raw speed tearing up the tiled floor as he manages to get a solid hit in on Vegeta. The Saiyan prince immediately goes back into Primal, and while he’s got the power advantage, dad can react just a bit faster with the Raio-ken. And that’s not all. Tarble is able to pepper him with Ki blasts and the occasional mouth beam. Vegeta’s on the defensive! They can do this!
