I know this is purely hypothetical and most likely will not happen, because confrontation with Moro is looming near, so Karn will not be able to master this in time. But if he theoretically could generate and use Energy of Destruction it would be a hard counter for this evil wizard. He can’t eat Hakai because it will erase him.

You'd think it'd decay over time or pass through him naturally.Maybe Karn could ask him. His advice may help in generating more of the Hakai Energy, that originally did not belong to Karn. It’s similar to that God Ki, which did not belong to Kars at first.
