“Hey, Johnny! You’re done calling too?” Aurora is here too! What the hell? She’s the one with 300 family members, how is she the first one to be free?
“Yes, I am. I’m surprised that you are!” You recall the many Dewitts around.
“Yeah, but like, I’m used to callin’ all my siblings when I’m in a pinch. I can’t always get back home to make dinner on time.” Aurora feels self-conscious. “N-Not that it happens often.”
“Trust me, you don’t need to justify yourself. I’m glad to have you on board.” You pump your fist.
“We’re a team, aren’t we?” Aurora is ready for a call. “I’ll come running any time you need me!”
“Speaking of, Mat is joining us too. She *also* has a personal beef with these gangsters. So, I couldn’t say no.” You inform.
“I got another half-kinda-sibling?!” Aurora smiles from ear to ear.
“Sorry, Rora. No more secret families. I think.” You don’t know who Matilda’s father is… Not the loose thread you wanna tie today though.
