“Heh,” Talbot chuckles, “Kidnapees.”
You can’t help but giggle too. Pee!
“... anyways, if we go that route there’s gotta be a back entrance. Or the roof," he adds, clucking his tongue. "That’s probably an option.”
“I’m still leaning towards the <span class="mu-g">APC.</span>” Eddie says with an obstinate shrug. “That’s where these guys were before they were taken, right? We should check that out first!”
“Sure,” Tucker scoffs, “And fall right into a trap…”
“He’s got a point.” Mitzi nods. “It’d be the bait I’d use.”
Speaking of bait, you mutter, tapping your chin in thought, why even bother rushing in anywhere? Why not just bait these kidnappers out ourselves?
“That’s the best idea I’ve heard all day!” Talbot smirks! “Let’s reel in these jerks with a trap of our own!”
“<span class="mu-i">B-b-bu-but d-don’t w-we need b-b-bait?</span>” Denise stammers. “<span class="mu-i">W-wh-who’s th-the unlucky w-winner, h-hm?</span>”
All eyes land on her for a moment, prompting another sea of sweat to rush forward from the dork.
… followed by a chorus of ‘<span class="mu-i">nah</span>’s from the gang. Who the hell would want to kidnap <span class="mu-i">HER,</span> am I right, guys?! As everyone but Denise bursts into laughter, you take the time to weigh your options. If there really <span class="mu-i">are</span> kidnapees here, you’re gonna have to tread lightly–who knows what will happen to them if their captor feels threatened?
