"Kiki!" Tamako says happily approaching the similarly sized fairy.
"Ah, the egg girl and her father." She responds, relenting on her attacks with the broom. She looks at you a bit warily, but at least she doesn't disappear. "Welcome home."
"Husband!" The ghost suddenly shouts, causing everyone to look to her. "I tried to tell you, I'm married to him! I am the Prin-"
Kiki brings the broom back down and says, "And yet, he does not move to protect you. Does not sound like the act of a newlywed."
You say that you actually would rather she stop hitting the Princess. You point to your ring, and explain that you are technically married to her for the next three days.
"Three days? I remember when such vows were considered sacred..." Kiki says tuttering.
You give a little chuckle, and then turn to the ghost and ask her name.
Cowering a little less she responds, "I am Princess Camelia of Lake Hermannstadt. Thank you for finally calling off that horrid beast, my dear."
"After this, you must make sure to pick a better mother to your daughter." Kiki retorts to you.
"And why would I not make a good mother?" The ghost says indignant, her form rising with a sharp crackle. Seeminlgy realizing who Tamako is, her form softens to a nice cloudy texture and she says, "But you are my new daughter? Don't worry, I'll make sure to watch over you in both life a-and death."
"Ah, oh... That's alright." Tamako admits readily, and then adds. "You are kinda creepy and you look gross."
"You dare to call me ug-" The ghost begins to say, billowing out angrily. She is soon pacified by the broom, and a moment later she continues, "...It is not very polite to call someone ugly, little one. Besides, it only matters if your father thinks I'm attractive!"
The ghost points to you, and you become the center of all attention. You have to stick with this spirit for another a few more days so you don't want to insult her, but on the other hand you can't say you've ever found a dead body that sexy.
The hesitation causes Tamako to say, "No way dad! I don't want a ghost OR a skeleton for a mom!"
"Skeleton...?" The ghost says, confused. Her ectoplasmic form starts to fade away. Kiki and Tamako turn towards the bathroom, and you follow their gaze. A second later the Princess appears in front of the mirror. It starts to ice over, but even through that her boney form is revealed. The phantom gives a sharp gasp.
"H-"
Her form then fades away again, as does her voice. Her last words are a nervous,
"How embarrassing..."
After a moment of pure silence, you turn to the Kikimora and ask how she managed to find you and Tamako.
"This." She says, holding up the broom.
