>>5825109>Quarantine zealots with high biosafety precautions etc>Question the zealots (former disciples / followers of Morfran, the Rewilder space druid)You instruct acolytes of the ARCHONAL GRID to don positive pressure biohazard suits, decontaminate microorganisms and filter all particles down to 10 nanometres for maximum biocontainment.
After a period of careful testing and observation, you do not believe the zealots are infected with anything that cannot be managed with doses of Haemolymph - however, you believe that it may require further future doses to keep the contagion under control. It does not appear possible at this stage to utterly eradicate the disease afflicting them without subjecting the Zealots to such a lethal dose that would kill them outright. If only there were some research institute or testing facility with extensive experimental data available on the effects of a high Haemolymph intake regimen upon humans...???
When you question your zealots, the former disciples of Morfran the Rewilder, you learn that they appear to have been recruited from scattered followings amongst the impoverished of many different industrial worlds. In fact, very few of them have even actually seen a "Tree" before, or even know what a Tree actually is. Many of them believe the Tree to be a form of comet. The former disciples appear to have all been recruited from heavy industrial or polluted waste-worlds, and so were easily susceptible to his redemptive preachings. Morfran spoke of the sacred Tree as granting peace, an end to bloodshed, pestilence and war - with the advanced science granted to you by the Holy Grid, you recognise his mythology as in fact a form of phytoremediation - using bioengineered metallophyte plant accumulators or a form of rhizofiltration silviculture to leach, stabilise and drain pollutants such as pesticides, explosives or industrial chemicals from the land. However, the pattern of recruitment from industrial worlds, in particular munition manufacturing worlds, seem to suggest to you that Morfran was very interested in procuring weapons... not reversing their effects. Some of the zealots also recall a certain "Cythraul", said to be a herald of the Tree told to them by the Rewilder Morfran, which could be used to produce some form of bizarre miraculous fruit, known as the Usufruct.
>I don't think Earth-like environments are common in the galaxy etc...Taking heed of your point, Congregant-Director Sevastian Lir
>>5824461attempts to refute the furious rantings and denunciations of the Rewilder space druid Morfran:
-It seems to me, druid, that you possess a distorted sense of what Nature truly is... by mass a neutron star is far greater than the mass combined of all the trees you have ever seen. Which is more natural, the Tree or the Neutron Star?
