You look at the computer screen and then look at Professor Ginger.

Professor Ginger nods. It seems like she's still looking at what the computer screen tells her! "The cutécaptor is designed to instantly form a permanent mental bond between a single human and a Cutémon. It's the same type of bond that a mon trainer would form with a mon after a long period of training. Once it's used to capture a Cutémon for the first time, it will only function for that specific human, and will only function on that specific Cutémon."
You look at Professor Ginger again.
"Capture?"
Professor Ginger is still looking at the screen. "The cutécaptor transports the Cutémon to and from <span class="mu-r">a dimension that only exists inside the cutécaptor</span>. It seems like the Cutémon can survive inside <span class="mu-r">the cutécaptor dimension</span> for an indeterminate amount of time."
What? Professor Ginger just said all that? It seems like you really can fit inside the cutécaptor!
"Hmm." It seems like Professor Ginger just noticed something! "This cutécaptor seems to be a prototype. It's missing a component. Without more information, I can't tell what the missing component does. Whatever it does, it doesn't seem to affect the device's base functionality."
