>FIND A NEW BODY TO WEAR... SUCCESS
Yes, you think you've stayed in these old skins long enough. Honestly, using the bodies of the scientists in civilization this long like you have been, it's a wonder you haven't been caught. Or are they just amassing their forces, waiting for the perfect time to strike? No matter, you think, giving yourself over to paranoia will get you nowhere. Instead, you tell Sophia that you're going for a walk. Sophia mumbles something before rolling over in her bed, snoring.
Making your way through the hotel, you think on who the best target would be. After much deliberation, you come to the conclusion that one of the several homeless and "junkies" would be best. If one of them goes missing, there wouldn't be too much of a dust up over it, you think. And besides, they're not really going missing. Wandering through the town, you eventually spot a likely candidate, an older bearded man in dirty scruffy clothes pushing a cart full of plastic bags, much like the one you stole last night. Wait... That is the cart you stole! You dumped it on the outside of town last night after you brought your supplies back to the hotel, and this enterprising soul repurposed it for his own use.
Yes... You think this one will do nicely. You're already in the form of a young woman, and so you approach him and begin to make conversation. He is of course wary at first, but either your form or your Ambassadors honeyed words cause him to lower his guard, and before long you invite him to the hotel with the promise of payment for "work". The man seems positively delighted by this, it seems he has been a stranger to kindness for quite a while...
When you get back to the hotel, the female hotel manager whos mind you altered only needs a few psychic nudges to make her realize that your room is really 101, not 404, and so she gives you the key without argument. Leading the man into the room, he asks "Sho... Wass this work you wont me to do, young lady?" with a strange gleam in his eyes. You approach him and wrap both arms around his shoulders, and pull him in for a hug. He begins to giggle, until your Communion organ bursts through your skull and covers his entire face, masking his screams. It only takes a few moments for your tendrils to pierce his skull, burrowing into the tender mush within.
