“Tanya? What are you doing here?” Chaya asks as Tanya hovers over her, looking down on her.
“Today is the day.” the soldier says, looking down her nose at your daughter. “I no longer need you, so it is time for you to go.”
“Oh, so you wanna challenge me.” Chaya says, smirking confidently. “Alright, I accept. Let's do thi-!”
“Fire.” Tanya orders coldly, then suddenly dozens of shots fire out from all sides. Your daughter doesn't hesitate, back flipping away from Tanya and the shots fired. Your daughter spins while flipping, firing Death Beams from her left hand's pointer finger. Her beams take down three of the soldiers before she lands in front of a fourth, it trying to immediately run her through with the rifle's bayonet. Chaya leans her head aside, only taking a scratch to the right cheek before swinging her sword up, bisecting the more humanoid machine straight down the middle. With her swing's force Chaya leaps up into the air, turning to face the remainder of Tanya's soldiers only for the woman herself to fire. And her cannon is just as devastating as you remember.
“Perish!” Tanya roars, unleashing a devastating beam of energy. Chaya sees it coming, and with no time to avoid it braces herself behind her sword. Tanya's blast consumes Chaya, enveloping her completely and sending your daughter crashing down into the fortress's ruins below.
“CHAYA!” Caulifla shouts, leaping up to her feet again beside you in a panic.
“She's still intact.” Raditz says, no doubt sensing her ki as well as Tanya's beam ends. The attack hurt her, cutting her power sharply, but she's still in this. “But there's no way she can take many more shots like that. She's got a Covenant glassing cannon in her hands there, somehow.”
Chaya then pitches her sword up at Tanya from her new crater, the massive blade spinning end over end even faster than Tanya's beam had moved. The flying soldier can only raise her weapon to defend herself, with no time to avoid it, and the two weapons collide. Chaya's sword crashes against the rifle with devastating impact, her sword <span class="mu-i">shattering</span> the weapon and striking the smaller girl in the chest!
