>I/Isabelle to Bond with Sirocco. Warn her of the upcoming guest and that she might recognize some of them
Employee I solemnly walks over to the containment cell, her eyes focused on the floor moreso than anything else. She puts on the sand resistant equipment merely as an afterthought.
I'm safe here. Aren't I?
There's hardly any movement in the cell at this point. You even see Employee I entering.
The storm shifts a bit as she recognizes the employee.
ANOMALY: Oh. Hello, cool lady.
I: Hey.
There's an awkward silence.
I: I'm...sorry to have to break the news to you. There's...something bad going outside.
ANOMALY: L-like what?
ANOMALY: C-can I help? I, uh, I wanna show I'm a big girl! You know, doing stuff outside and being cool-
I: There's going to be some guests. Uninvited guests. Guests that you'll recognize.
I: I want you to promise me something.
ANOMALY: Y-yes?
I: If they break in. Don't be afraid to defend yourself. The world outside is...dangerous. Death, violence, greed. It's awful out there.
I: But that doesn't mean you can't change it. Or resist against it.
I: Even if you feel trapped, you still have choices. You still have the will to do what you have to do.
ANOMALY: I. I don't want to fight. I just want to live and be with friends and have a good time and not have to worry and-
If a storm can hyperventilate, she's going through that. The speed of the storm is stop and go, then SUPER FAST.
I: That is what is it to live outside.
Employee I steps closer, holding her arms out.
I: You have to stand up for what you want. And you want to live in peace. With your friends.
I: But if you're not willing to do that, then the world will spit you out. It sucks. But you can rise above it.
ANOMALY: ...
The storm slows down to a crawl. A cool breeze passes by Employee I's hair.
ANOMALY: ...I know. I know. I...I'm not going out there to fight. But I don't want to feel trapped.
ANOMALY: If. If that is what it takes to be free, I will. I will protect myself. I don't need others to protect me, do I?
You must grow up eventually. But are you willing to take that step forward?
I: I said all I can say. Just remember.
I: If you see a Ranger in here, do whatever it takes to protect yourself.
ANOMALY: ...I will. Thank you.
I: No problem. Have a good day, Siro.
ANOMALY: You too, Isabelle.
The normally innocent, carefree tone of the child is slowly shifting.
ANOMALY: Stay safe.
Employee I exits the containment cell.
