TalOS watched as reports were coming across the system that the Blackstone Fortress, however little, was taking fire from the incoming acts of warpcraft. Psi Sensors read that the area was heavily polluted by the warp, that the barrier between reality and it were at its thinest here. TalOS already knew what was causing this issue as he glanced towards the five planets that were covered in the crystal the Mitu used for their sorcery.
Even though the Fortress was being touched by the Xenos and their weapons the Primarch noted that things would have been much worst if the Fortress had not been here.
+FIRE BATTERIES!+ Declared TalOS over the Noosphere that touched every single ship at the same moment. In response TalOS from one of the many oculars scattered across the Blackstone Fortress as the entire galaxy before him was lit up.
The Mitu and the Mechanicum quickly started to trade blow after blow. Each side heavily scaring the other as they began to close the gap between one another. TalOS took the moment to study them, noting that the Mitu were no longer following their standard doctrine of combat. There was rarely an attempt to keep distance as they threw themselves forward.
TalOS decided to welcome their attack by letting the Blackstone Fortress reach forward to touch the ships that were quickly approaching them. In the next moment a scar of yellow light crossed through the galaxy as TalOS counted five of the xeno’s ships being destroyed with that single attack.
In that moment the Mitu began to shift, reality coming across their minds as they realized the foolishness of charging headlong into the Blackstone Fortress. Instead the Xenos quickly shifted themselves from attacking the spear point that was the Blackstone Fortress but instead the rest of the fleet that followed it. Many of them taking the moment to spread out lest they allow another core of their number to fall to the Fortress’s wrath.
TalOS did not mind, for after all they had an objective. There were several worlds that needed to burn or their chances of losing this battle would significantly heighten.
TalOS quickly began the organization of the fire teams as he crossed the threshold of the Mitu wall of ships. There were a few that were throwing themselves at the Blackstone Fortress but with only one making impact on its outer shell. TalOS did not need to worry for what was to happen about these xenos as he already got reports of all members of the Blackstone Fortress going over to kill them.
