>>5573135We can't change how the GM sees the world, but we can change how Herbert Wilke changes his world.
Try to take solace in that and don't mind that Hitler forgot the Name of Herbert like politician in a Hollywood flick. It made for a fun joke even if he was known for making sure to remember the names of simple soldiers he met. In the end a good chuckle is worth a bit of inaccuracy and most stuff that might bug you can be explained away.
Were kids actually taught that they should "purify" nations through mass killings in the HJ? Of course not, but Herbert arguing against it while teaching one of our boys about nuances and Realpolitik makes for a good scene and if that doesn't satisfy you, you can always choose to believe that the particular crop we got was skimmed off the top of a NAPOLA/Adolf Hitler/SS Junker boarding school which had a particularly extreme/weird politics and ethics teacher. We're in 1945 so maybe he came back from the front after seeing all his friends die and got some weird ideas.
We don't know and if the GM leaves them open there's no reason to think too deeply into it. I doubt he's a blue-haired weirdo trying to use a quest on 4chan as a subversive piece of propaganda to fuck with you in particular.
To quote the iron chancellor
