>>5986240>Hand over some pocket torches or other light sources to the few folk who couldn’t see. It would mean that you could be spotted from quite a distance, but at least it meant your allies could see in the dark.Everyone is issued torches, including the people with NVGs. All of the lights are wrapped up in some cloth or bags and worn on the body, so it should very dimly illuminate their wearers and immediate surroundings and let everyone keep track of everyone else and avoid walking into walls, each other or bottomless pits without emitting conspicuous amounts of light. Think like a pilot light or a phone screen with the brightness cranked all the way down kind of brightness. Ano can tape hers to her horn.
I am once again reminded that I want to grab a few techies and go to give the power plant a solid whack with a spanner. Still, what the hell are these emergency lights even running on by now? Batteries should have gone flat within a day or so.
As for meta, we're only a few threads from the end and have a day or two left at most so start a new thread with the next update rather than eking just that little bit longer out of this one. I've stated my opinion here
>>5972212 and can't think up any specific criticisms I have at this time. Certainly I think you've successfully kept on avoiding many of the flaws of the early quest since that.
Miscellany, I wonder if for a quest finale special (a long way off I hope) we could get like a family portrait of all of the major cast members in one picture. I'd definitely chip in for it.
Through a roundabout chain of thoughts I will not elaborate on, I've realised that I really really hope there's nothing nasty actually breeding in the bottom of the facility. This is an MG story after all, and it has E*brus in it....
