"Oh wait, is that Dad over there?" Tamako says, pointing past the large woman towards the flap they entered through. As Kamiko turns around to check the changeling lunges to the hole with a giggling, snorting sort of laugh.
"H-hey! Tamako wait!" Kamiko cries as she turns back around, but Tamako is already most of the way in the tunnel and only going deeper.
As Kamiko's protestations begin to muffle, the tunnel starts to lose the little light it already had. Just as she is thinking about turning around the floor seems to drop beneath her as the dusty wood of the tunnel suddenly turns smooth. She slides down for a second, letting off a small yelp as she feels the ground disappear beneath her. Thankfully, she lands in something that cushions her fall.
After a moment of shock she looks around, and realizes she is in some sort of storage. In the light of the single bulb hanging from the ceiling Tamako can see she landed on a pile of puffy, multi-colored costumes. Looking up, she sees she fell down from a bright pink slide worked into the tunnel. the wall away from her are cubbyholes with various stage props such as juggling balls, tubas, sparklers, and rubber chickens. The closer wall is lined with hangers full of more clothes, above which there is a shelf with comical face masks lined in a row. The masks are of regular people, but with comically distorted proportions or expressions on each. Next to the masks and costume racks is a door.
A few moments later sounds start coming from above, a few thumps and strange laughing. Then several large bangs that make her jump. Did something happen to Kamiko? However as she's strains her ears she catches the sounds of strange sing-song talking and shurried, squeaking shoes coming not from above, but from the door.
