With every movement TalOS knew he was getting closer and closer to his goal. Ritual after ritual he committed and each of them were done to their perfection. Sometimes the machines would repair themselves, such as the re-oiling of joints or cleaning, but as TalOS worked he felt the shift in the Motive Force and a single wire would move into place.
It was a simple wire in a hallway, one which was a redundancy for the communications grid which covered the entire Titan. TalOS approached it and examined the socket to see if there was a magnet or wire and noted that there was a magnetic force there.
Was that standard?
As he researched he noticed that the magnetic force was drained away and was eventually gone.
Again, the movement of wires was not an out there concept. A Tech Priest would place into his body a series of activators and systems that forced immediate repair of systems. For wiring, it can be moved with carefully calculated frequency or energization that gives it movement.
And TalOS noted that was exactly what happened to that wire.
What flowed through him then? Studying the records TalOS saw there was a slight increase of electrical flow that do not correlate with the result. There was no reason for the two to have correlation. Yet TalOS’s attention did not leave it.
Study continued for weeks, with TalOS purposefully taking apart the wire and recommitting himself to the ritual. There he felt it, as his arms moved through the air they caught the slightest movement of electricity and began to cascade.
The Motive Force flowed through all things. Everything in the Universe was connected through a network of cause and effect. In knowing this there was reason for there to be souls and it was not because of the Warp. If that was true, then why does the universe reject the warp so much?
The warp might not be what made souls but be made of them. The lowest thinking lifeform, while little to no presence within the warp, if slaughtered in the trillions are enough to make the Warp what it is today. They are fuel that allow thinking beings like man to think who which create greater concepts of reality such as Daemons and their Gods.
As the Machine repaired itself through the Motive Force, TalOS must track down the start of this cascade through life. To do that, he needed to study this effect far more.
