>>5704269>>5704281>>5704486Your high energy seems to pass off to Farnese and Schierke, who are encouraged by your optimism to keep working harder at their training.
You seem to be able to fire off soul arrows with a lot less strain and difficulty, though should you increase the output of your firing or charge said arrow into a thicker projectile, you still feel like fainting. For an attack that can phase through solid matter, you figured that it would not be that easy to use without affecting your well being.
After a few days of astral projection, Schierke and Farnese confirm that indeed, they have enough energy to contact the four kings of the spirit world, as well as any other smaller spirit with relative ease. Of course, they cannot summon such strong astral entities for no particular reason, so it's best to take their world for it.
"So you're not afraid of battling, anymore?"
"Why would I be afraid?" Farnese smiles back to you. "The amount of effort you have put into building my confidence hasn't gone unnoticed. I owe it to you to see through the end of this journey, and I am not going anywhere. You want to go through the depths of hell just to destroy the Falcon Of Darkness? No matter, I'll be with you. It's the least I can do after giving me a reason to live again. It wouldn't be fair to fight against your sense of duty after all this time."
Farnese's speech is very inspiring, though all it takes is a peck on her lips to take her back into her regular girly mode.
"W-wait! O-Oh, I practiced so hard for this speech too..." Farnese gets flustered from your teasing, and feeling a bit bad for her, you try to give her an answer she deserves.
"Following me to the end of the world is not a task many people would do, so for you, my love, I'll try giving you the wedding you deserve. Do you think there is a record for how many flowers there can be in a single spot? With my current abilities, we can decorate the place for free."
This time, it's Farnese who giggles and steals you a kiss on the cheek.
Though before your teasing could devolve into a tickle fight (or something else), you notice Schierke patiently waiting for you two to stay silent while she tries to concentrate, all the while Ivalera sobs over her hat.
"Love is such a beautiful thing, why can't I find myself a man like Vlad?"
You resist the urge to comment on her size, wanting to propose the idea of combining your powers to attempt to contact Ilos. You still don't understand why you have failed in doing so after all the power you've got, so whatever happened there must be worrying indeed...
