You take stock of your fighters after the fish has finally stopped moving. To be blunt, they're not in a good state.
The cluwne, despite looking like a pin cushion, is already waddling away with his loud clown shoes blaring honks throughout the place. You can't tell if he's even worse than the next two or if he's the best off.
Felix and Zero are the worst off. Zero's tough but blood loss is still blood loss. She's almost getting as pale as you. Felix, meanwhile, is not really in much of a state to move by himself.
...On closer look, he's not moving at all. He's hardly breathing either.
<span class="mu-r">Felix is in critical condition.</span>
<span class="mu-r">Ranger Zero is not far behind.</span>
Isabelle and Jack are exhausted. Scratches and bruises from trying to avoid the storm of knives coat their skin. They're not life-or-death injuries but still pretty roughed up.
The anomaly, beast, and Spike are barely injured in any "real" way. The worst off is Future's armor being all sorts of dented and scratched. An Appease (Nurture?) work might do good for him. The metal beast kneels down and powers off, now that the fight is over.
>"Unleash the Beast" will now cost 4 A-Energy until further notice.
And lastly, Agent K isn't remotely injured or exhausted by what just happened to her. The only thing you could describe her state as is "utterly and completely bored". She scoffs at what just happened and walks off to help the injured folks.
That was a shit show. You make a mental note to have Monifa try to get some sort of training regiment with these guys. You don't exactly want to trust on playing with Fortune's dice again.
Speaking about Fortune's dice. In the third floor storage room, where the dice were left behind, the die that just fell apart only a few minutes ago slowly restores itself. You're not sure how to describe it but it looks...infinitely more flimsy than the previous one.
>The five "reroll a 1" rerolls have been 'saved'. You have a feeling that this die will fall apart if you don't use it today.
Before you go finally check on the work results, you check up on the medbay. You take a note on who's still there and hrm.
D-5UH4 isn't dead, thankfully, but she's not really in much state to move or do anything right now. Delta, meanwhile, is ready to brawl at the tip of a hat. The worst you can say he's looking is the fact one of his arms is wrapped up like a mummy.
The severely injured fighters are already being treated as best as they can by the nurses. You can only hope they can stabilize them quick enough. You can't exactly stuff both of them into the Autodoc at the same time.
All you can do now is to wait and hope that they don't die. You grab a cup of coffee, take a big old sip of it, and crack open those anomaly work notes. This is out of your hand for now.
