In the end, you decide to go with Marley's plan. While you managed to hinder Hampton & Holt by taking out one of their retrieval teams and destroying their latest batch of Fomori, you've now drawn their attention. From here on out, you should be more cautious.
You set the truck ablaze. It shall serve as a suitable pyre for all of the minions of the Wyrm that you have slain. You have no doubt that the smoking wreckage will draw attention but by the time that the fire is doused, nothing inside of it will be recognisable. You don't have to worry about causing a forest fire either, as the weather is so cold and damp this time of year that there's not much chance of it. As for Ella, she's frustrated that she's not able to keep her promise and return the station wagon to its owner. You assure her the car will almost certainly find its way back to its owner, but that doesn't improve her mood.
>Ella gains 1 Rage. Her Rage is currently 5/10.
Entering the Umbra is simple enough. Marley produces one of the mirrors that he looted from the track and lays it on the grass. He crouches before it and stares into his reflection for a long moment. You eventually blink, only to find that the hairless Metis is no longer there. One by one, the others follow his lead. You're the last one to go through to the other side, though you pick up the mirror and make sure to hold to it tightly as you focus on your reflection. Just as Marley predicted, when you manifest in the Umbra, the mirror remains in your hands.
The trees in this region of the spirit world aren't as large or colourful as the ones back at the caern. In fact, they all seem withered and pale, as though something has sucked most of the life and colour out of them. The more that you walk, the more that you realise that most of the woodland in the Umbra looks like this. The few nature spirits that you come across are feeble, solitary creatures that flee as soon as they sense your presence.
