A little later, when it was clear that the Silvertongue’s life was no longer in danger, you, Ahmose and Pandora proceeded through a portal that would lead to the entrance of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Before entering, however, Pandora opened up an additional portal and flung Bloody Lips’ unconscious form through. The serial killer had a lot of stolen memories that she would have to parse through and erase.

You, Cindy, Reese, and Pandora waited patiently as Ahmose tended to Louise’s wounds. It didn’t just end at him feeding her the elixir, which was an incredible sight in and of itself.
You’d watched with poorly concealed awe as the magical draught regrew healthy skin and hair, reattached torn muscle, and restored her so completely that it was hard to believe that she had been sitting on death’s door not too long ago.
Now he was just making sure that he had properly judged the correct amount of elixir that should be used. Since he only had one elixir to use in case of emergency, he was careful with rationing each and every drop of it. Pandora assured you that he was an expert in judging the correct amount necessary, but she didn’t begrudge him for wanting to make absolutely certain.
Strange’s astral projection was watching the procedure very closely. According to him, the art of potioncraft was a rare talent to be had amongst most competent alchemists, and he had never before seen an elixir quite as powerful as Ahmose’s.
Finally, Ahmose turned around to address all of you on the nun’s condition. Cindy and Reese leaned forward, holding their breath in anticipation. If there was even a small chance that Louise could be cured…
Ahmose shook his head, and everyone around you deflated. Pandora closed her eyes and sighed, and Strange pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.
“I am sorry, but she is too far along in her transformation for my elixir to do much more than bolster her condition.” Ahmose explained. “I suspect that her condition was aggravated by her injuries, and in her weakened state, the disease was able to ravage her body with ease. She will have to adapt to this new way of life from now on. I implore you, please be gentle in breaking the news to her.”

It took you and Reese both to convince Cindy to take a portal home. She had wanted to stay with Louise until she woke up, but you reminded her that she had tests tomorrow, and needed her rest.
Pandora and Ahmose remained at the Sanctum as well, both of them conversing with Strange about the peculiarities of Louise’s condition and vampirism in general.
