The Machine Spirit of Arch Angelus gave a soft simmer as the Prince looked out into the battlefield.
The first thing he saw was the numerous pieces of debris falling out from the sky. Hundreds of different ship parts that were obviously of Greenskin making landed against the Void Shield that protected them.
This was the moment that demonstrated the need for the Void Shields. Fredric had witnessed these machines of war protecting his own home but never did he see them in action as they were now. After all it was only Xenos that dropped from the sky and Dutonis had not seen an Alien invasion for the twenty years that he was alive.
+Lord Magos Sicaran.+ He opened up a link to the Magos Dominus though the Noosphere link that was recently granted to him, +How goes the battle above.+
+High Magos Pteraxii is managing to keep the Orks managed and has reported drop points on the other side of the planet three hours and two minutes ago. We will expecting the Xenos to come towards the battlefield within thirty minutes.+
+Thank you, Lord Magos Dominus.+ With those words the Prince had cut the line from the network.
He took one last glance over the battlefield. The Fortress stood upon one the highest mountains of the region and was backed up with a massive cliff to one of its sides. On the other side were the numerous battlements that were crafted into the soft ground and turned into study locations to face retaliation in.
This here was the battlefield of the Knights. A clear slope that went down into a massive hill from which they were to face the Xenos.
With their knowledge he turned back to his Household. The Knights belonging to house Borgius looked at him with a moment’s attrition as they awaited for the declarations from their Lord. Battleplans for the upcoming fight and a rousing speech that would help them face the coming horrors.
He was bred and trained for it, but today Fredric felt as if he had truly found his calling.
>Prepare as quick response units to Xenos Aggression.
>Be on the front lines so they can be some of the first to fight.
>Hang back and not allow his Knights to tire from what really is the preamble.
