As you mentioned, the missiles launch but fail and explode midair halfway along the vertical climb trajectory, because they were too badly damaged by your previous plasma gun blasts. I don't think Hasdrubal possesses any inkling that you tried to target the Qarthadast ship, he just assumes you fired them now as a distraction or something. You think the missiles are a bit of a double edged sword - on the one hand, whoever is in the palace knows that someone is coming, but on the other, they might get lost scouring the forest and woods trying to circle around to the launch site of the missiles, which provides you with a distraction. You are also pretty certain that this pleasure palace is some form of planetary starport or means of ascending the gravity well; you think if you capture it, and somehow destroy / persuade those two orbiting capital ships to depart, you will have effectively annexed this entire planet, given the primitive state of the remaining native population.
From what Hasdrubal tells you of this "Pale Lady", all you can gather is that she sounds like any other recruited space mercenary, marauder or pirate, who also participates occasionally in harrowing slave raids against the local population. It seems she is searching for something across the planets. You are not entirely sure why the natives fear her so much, and have attached so much superstitious belief and terror to her appellation. From the various stories it appears she is likely to possess heavy biomechanical or cybernetic augmentations, but Hasdrubal does not know much more beyond this.
