“Macy, if you don’t want to, we don’t have to try. We can just keep this for… something else, I guess?”
“It… it’s cool. Like you said, if we really need a Girding potion for more than just staying up a little late? It should be a good one. And I did kind of overreact. Sorry. I-you know how I am. And had it drilled into me as a kid that drugs are terrible. But? Well, wizards guzzle potions like it’s nothing; we have crap like Felix Felicis which is hyper addictive, Painkilling Potions, all that. We aren’t going to get addicted or something from this. Probably. And? It will be a good test of my skills.”
“Your skills are great! You were moving so fast I could barely follow you before!”, you tell her, give her a quick hug. “So, what can I do?”
“Thanks, Jenn. Need to get better, though; keep you safe. Help win the International Wizarding Cup for Ilvermorny. But if you want to grab a cauldron, the normal ingredients for a Girding Potion that would be great. And, I feel like I’ll need some glacier water. Northern. It’s in the cooled section of the ingredients cabinet”
“What difference does it make?”
“C-cocaine is from South of the Equator, right? Need something to balance it out. And why do we have to flick our wand in certain ways for spells? There is a logic to it, but it is also magic.”, Macy states and pulls out a note pad and muggle pencil. “I’m going to do some quick numerological calculations to account for the new ingredient, but hand me that baggie of d-drugs.”, She asks while grabbing a tiny, tiny silver spoon.
“Okay… you are the expert.”
And when you give her the stash of blow? She scoops a tiny bit out, dumps it in her mouth.
“Macy! What are you doing!”, you kind of shout out, as she gets a second minuscule scoop and smells it; ends up snorting it. Licks her lips some.
“A good potion maker needs to know their ingredients. I don’t know anything about this stuff, so I need to taste it, smell it; that alone can tell you a lot...about… oh. Oh! Wow. This is… good. Should my mouth be numb? Whatever, I have Bezoars and General Anti-Toxin in my pouches! Now! Cauldron! Ingredients!”, she says with an uncommon energy, beginning to scrawl down numbers and matrices on her paper, and you swear you saw her pupils dilate some before she looked down to focus on her calculations.
Ah.
Ah, shit. You just gave a vaguely autistic girl coke and are now going to try and make potions powered by it.
Well? Adventure, ho! Hahaha, and you get to fetching the pot and ingredients, setting them up for Macy.
>I need 3 rolls of 1d100+21 (+12 for Macy’s Potions skill, +5 for Jenn assistance, +2 for Macy Numerology, +2 from coke fueled inspiration)
