>Talk to him. You’ve gained the advantage. He’s been investigating, and definitely has something to offer. Try and make a deal with him.
"I'm just trying to find my friend. That's all. He's in danger, or maybe already dead."
Porcupamon raises his hand menacingly, ready to bring it down on the Rookie. He resists, waiting for you to continue negotiations. In the meantime, Commandramon's tail twitches, as he prepares to dodge and shoot.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">"You really had nothing to do with this?"</span></span>
<span class="mu-s">"None. That good enough?"</span>
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">"No. But I see where this is going- any way I'm walking out of this alive?"</span></span>
You exchange a look with Porcupamon, and then motion for him to lower his hand. He's still looming over the Rookie Digimon with his intimidating, bulky visage, standing between him and the stunned mech.
"Of course. I'm not looking to hurt you for no good reason, I just can't let you take us in. You said you're on a mission. Do the mission parameters include apprehending me for having a Digimon?"
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">"...I suppose not. If it's for the mission, maybe, just maybe, I can let this go."</span></span>
<span class="mu-s">"Then we can call a truce. Now throw that gun away, I don't want it to be anywhere near you."</span>
Commandramon stares at his gun, contemplating the offer. He eventually realizes that there’s nothing he can do with it that prevents the two of you from deleting him. With a wince, he flings it over a nearby wall.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">”There.”</span></span>
A sense of collective relief washes over the street. You slide your goggles on and begin scanning, giving Porcupamon a signal to watch over your ally/hostage. Immediately, you pick up a few Digimon signs. A chill runs through you again.
“Commandramon, you said there were casualties?” You say with a gulp.
