"Riiigghhhttt..." You're not sure how to change the topic smoothly from Maruyama's outburst to your actual plan. Eh, fuck it, you ball. "You three go check out the shed. I'll go check inside for anything valuable. Like he said. Code phrase is SMILE SMILE."
Gregory tilts his head in obvious confusion but doesn't say anything. <<span class="mu-b">"Wait, that's it. How does she know it? Unless she talked to...hm."</span>>
Maruyama is staring daggers at you. He grits his teeth in a vain attempt to prevent another outburst out of himself. "Okay. Nicole. We'll do that." <<span class="mu-b">"I'm going to rip that motherfucker's throat out if he even LOOKS in my direction."</span>> "I'll go with him."
Even without the ability to mindread, Kiara quickly clues into what Maruyama is thinking. She quickly wraps her arm around his shoulder. Maruyama squawks out in embarrassment at the sudden physical contact, "WOAH HEY-"
Kiara pulls him into a side hug. "Hey, let's get some fresh air, okay? C'mon." Without waiting for an answer, she drags him out of the apartment, leaving you and Gregory. You turn your head to check on-
Huh. Gregory's already gone. You could've sworn he was here a second ago. Well, now that you're alone, it's probably best to start heading over to the theatre. You exit the apartment and into the empty streets of Avalon. There's not a lot to do or think about on the way over aside from keeping an eye out on the buildings.
As you get closer to the studio, the buildings begin to lose whatever little structural integrity the rest still had. There's nothing to really identify anymore in the endless sea of burnt rubble. The only buildings still standing are those made out of brick and even those only usually have a few support beams left over.
[SEEKER OF THE CITY] You could've found this place easily even without his directions. A small part of you is hurt at whatever valuable knowledge or trinkets could've once been in those buildings.
Where once would've been a barrier gate and a booth blocking the way to the studio is nothing. The only hint there even was anything was a warped, rusted metal beam at your feet. You simply step over before looking up at the studio.
There's not much to say because there's simply not a lot left of it anymore. There's two large buildings connected to each other, one you presume is where they shot the films and the other is for general employee use given what the map says but that's about it. Whatever identifying colors, banners, or any other detail has been completely lost underneath weather and fire damage, mostly leaving behind only the structural frame of the building.
You head over to the general employee building for the prospect of LOOTING. You have to hold back a grimace when your foot knocks into a broken skull, right next to the door frame. Fucking hell.
[UNSTABLE] "Help us." It cries out.
You shake your head, trying to ignore what you just heard. You enter into the <span class="mu-s">Studio</span> to distance yourself from the skull.
