"Ok. We'll, JP, I'm gonna level with you, she steps behind the counter and takes a seat in one of the chairs there with her legs spread wide. "This is pretty much the easiest job you could ever imagine. People rarely come in here at night. Most people that do just need gas or cigarettes. Honestly, I don't even know why they want two people on this shift, it might be a safety thing."
You're not sure how to respond to that so you just nod. You spend the next few hours learning where everything is, how to work the register, and when to stock stuff. Jenny is... candid. She is isn't exactly mean, but she doesn't really seem to have a filter. Which is refreshing in some ways. You get each other's numbers./
