>>6057966“I have. But I can't place it.” you say, watching as Kefla presses the attack. Forcing Tomitsu further and further onto the defensive until they aren't even fighting back, merely blocking the onslaught of blows from the green-haired woman.
“You feel it too then?” Broly replies, neither of you turning your attention away as the battle continues. Now the power gap has become more apparent, with Kefla clearly the aggressor. But she's unskilled, clearly attacking with raw aggression and power instead of refined technique or any sort of subtlty with feints or other technique. Something Tomitsu clearly notices as well, switching to the Su Ma technique. Dodging the heavy right Kefla throws by spinning clockwise, slamming their heavy left fist into the green-haired woman's jaw.
The heavy overhand staggers Kefla, but Tomitsu doesn't immediately try and follow-up on the attack with aggression. Instead, your twins know better, continuing the momentum to spin around behind her back. Kefla, recovering from the hit spins towards where she'd been hit from, only for Tomitsu to still be behind her.
“Wh-Wha-?!” she says, startled as Tomitsu then drives his knee into the back of her neck. “Kaack-?!”
“Haa! HAAA! HRAAAAAA!” Tomitsu roars, driving a quick second knee into her neck, staggering her. Kefla turns, only to take a backflip kick to the chin, rocking her several steps back. But as the fused warrior from the Sixth rights herself, her power blazes, climbing even higher. You and Broly glance to each other, both feeling it as the woman's power continues to grow.
“Alright, enough playing games! I'm gonna take you! DOOOOOOWN!!” she roars, power blazing even higher as her strength grows. Her aura doubles in size, lightning crackling around her body as she ascends further beyond. Tomitsu rises to the challenge, Ascending in a burst of sparks around their Energy Body. But carefully keeps the armor up. “You little shit! Take THIS!”
“Her power feels so familiar, but it's not like ours.” Broly says, you nodding along as Kefla, now strong enough to give you a moment's pause goes back on the attack. Once more not attacking with any skill or strategy but raw, unbridled aggression. However, she isn't lost to her rage like the two of you would be, instead it almost seems like the anger from that form is simply... Missing. As you have that revelation you look to Broly, who has seemingly reached the same conclusion. But before either of you can speak, Okira, your youngest daughter flies over, landing on your shoulder.
“Daddy, why's her power like ours, but also not?” she asks you, head tilted quizzically. “You didn't share your power with her like you did me, did you?”
