"Tch! What the shock are these..."
"I saw them back on the prison ship. Blame the invaders!"
Gritting your teeth, you try to turn through various options in your head. So far you managed to keep yourself to just hitting the invaders. Once again you curse the aliens for putting your fellow Earthers through this.
"Rider One. I'll go intercept them alone and buy you time!" Beta performs a short sprint, then throws up one arm up at an angle, the other bends out to his side. "Toh!" then he leaps into the air. "Rider Change!"
Spinning mid-air, the powerful energy enveloping him mid-air creates a powerful show in the night sky. Skidding to a landing just a little further off, he immediately starts throwing down the with cybers, tossing them around non-lethally. Occasionally picking the downed ones up by their ankles and swinging them around.
Your mind raced as you assessed any options. Observing them, you remember that they followed a signal, from the one in the carriage. Was it a matter of range? Even so, maybe you could try to jam it, or maybe it's being boosted from somewhere nearby. Then again, when it came to non-lethal attacks, you did have a few. It might be possible to overwhelm whatever they're using to see, or even damage the machinery enough for something to happen.
"What in the world?"
"Is this.. a battle?"
Glancing over your shoulder, you can see many of the villagers crowded up, watching you. You wondered what they were thinking, but you're resolved to become the line in the sand. You will not let them nor the humans from this era, such as Henry and Tyri, be exposed to any more evil, nor be involved in it.
