Of course, Rusty hard-countering his team Type-wise certainly helped, but knowing how he conducted battle was a big part of it.
And if you're honest with yourself, you want the League to at least be a bit of a challenge.
"What are his challenges like?" You ask, before holding up your hands. "I don't want you to spoil. But which one d'you think I should take? Paleontology prep or the mine? And if I went paleo, would it help with that fossil you gave me?"

"No, helping prep for fossil restoration is a bit more involved than prepping a fossil for display." She says. "It's a very precise and time-consuming process but... well. The reason why Darren offers it as an alternative is because the old mine is haunted." She explains.

"So, Darren offers helping out with the museum as an alternative to anyone who happens to have a phobia or two. As for which you ought to pick... I guess that really depends on whether you're scared of ghosts." She says simply.
