So many blasts of energy were sent into the sky that those upon the nearby planet could witness such a powerful force. Though the energy dissipated through Space it was able to strike across the shield of the Mitu in massive numbers. The energy that was being held to keep many of them alive were quickly cut as the Mitu began to move towards the humans.
After all, if they won here and now, the Mitu will have stopped the Reconquista in its tracks.
Around a tenth of their fleet were scared that they reached their own firing range to give the Mechanicum a scorching. Warp fire was sent across space towards the numerous Ships of the Mechanicum in an effort to test out what had struck. In that even Several Mechanicum ships had their Void Shields scared while the Blackstone Fortress simply turned whatever sorcery back into reality.
With that knowledge the Mitu quickly focused themselves towards the fleet of ships farthest from the Blackstone Fortress. An attempt to make sure their shots held the most optimal attacks as they attempted to route the Mechanicum. For their Effort, the ships of the Mechanicum began their retaliation while also angling to strike at the heart of the enemy fleet.
The most notable of these attacks came from the Blackstone Fortress as it sent towards the fleet of Mitu Ships a small ball of the void sailing towards them. The Mitu knew that danger was coming but could not comprehend the attack before it closed upon one of their ships. Then, with a moment’s terror, they watched as the ship was stretched out and rolled into the ball that soon imploded upon itself with a massive explosion.
In that moment they began to realize that they were not the only ones who could use sorcery. That the Mechanicum had enough in its arsenal to make sure that the Mitu felt the pain that they inflicted upon humanity.
Still, the Mitu would make contact with the enemy fleet. Nothing could prevent that from happening. It just depended on what the Mechanicum wished to do about it.
>Ram straight into the enemy with a full collapse
>Continue to slug it out with them at this medium range.
>Try and angle them in such a way that the planet could be accessed. Either forcing them to turn around or commit to their battle plan.
