>>5965222You stand there, listening to the two Destroyers arguing a moment longer before you've had enough. So, without hesitation you leap up into the air, flying over to them. Not getting directly between them, but within eyesight of both Destroyers.
“Hey, are we going to do this? Or did we all gather here to watch you two bicker?” you ask, both Destroyers turning towards you. Scowls on their face, you feel the anger of both deities directed right at you, wishing for a moment that you'd ascended into your Berserker God form first. “Wouldn't the fastest way to prove whose right be to allow us to get to the fighting?”
“Heh. So impatient. But I agree, bickering will get us nowhere.” Beerus says, the first to regain his calm. Surprisingly Champa takes a deep breath as well, regaining his composure too.
“Vados, I'll leave getting the formalities out of the way to you.” Champa says, flying over to the platforms on the right as Beerus and Whis go to the near-identical one on the right.
“Right then. Karn, your competitors from Universe 7, please follow me.” Vados then says, flying past you to the cube. “Ah, but first please leave all weapons and tools here in the craft. For this tournament there are to be no weapons or tools.”
“Understood.” Chilli says, his sword and staff covering themselves in crystal before the crystals shatter, revealing the weapons have vanished.
“And you aren't allowed to CALL any weapons to yourself mid-battle either.” she says, no doubt understanding how his powers work. “This is to be a martial arts competition, only your natural abilities will be allowed. No outside help from other deities.”
“Don't worry, I wasn't planning on asking Lord Jergal to interfere.” your son replies to her as you land, dropping your sword and hammer, as well as unsheathing your boot knife Chilli'd made you.
Disarmed, you all follow her across the arena, over to the highest platform and landing at the bottom step walks up. You all follow her, cresting the platform to get your first good look at Champa's fighters. Immediately you notice the giant metal man and the yellow ursine creatures, but then notice a plain-seeming young humanoid, as well as a being who reminds you of Freeza. In his first form at least, you seeing your friend freeze up upon seeing another of his kind. But your attention quickly focuses on the more unassuming being. His power isn't the strongest or the most familiar feeling, but you get the feeling that he's dangerous. Moreso than anyone else from that team.
“So, you will be our competition?” Freeza asks, stepping fully up onto the platform and giving the other fighters a mocking bow. “Please, do your best to entertain us. Unfortunately, I doubt any of you will get to see me participate myself in this little game, but do please do your best to entertain us all.”
