>>5979206>>5979196Kinny jumped when he's heard the Mog's howling. The cat heard the paladin's words all too clear, but the implications were just too serious to blindly act on them. The rogue didn't flinch, wondering just what the fuck has gotten in to Mog, or whether the screaming wolf who was now running away was indeed Mog.
And then something even more unexpected happened. In a blink of an eye, the crazed paladin drew and hurled one of his fire daggers at the bar. The movement was so quick and practiced, the piece of enchanted metal only ignited halfway to its destination, as if it was surprised and had to catch up with the sudden motion. The cat could only watch as the dagger sailed over the counter and towards the shelf, drawing a turbulent trail of fire in its path as it did.
"Yep, this is real." Kinny thought and sighed internally as the metal shattered a bottle, set its alcoholic content ablaze and embedded itself into the wall behind.
By the time the magical weapon turned itself into a bright, angry and particularly gruesome ball of fire, splinters, broken glass and burning liquid, the rogue has already rolled out of the way and dove between the legs of the wolves who were now standing oddly stiff and still.
Despite that, Kinny noticed there was a shard of glass embedded in his mask. Maybe those who wore them 'professionally' did it for more than the effect, the rogue thought to himself as he snapped the lucky piece off with his claw. "Fuck."
