It’s late. Super late. Super super late. So late she’s definitely going to get chewed out by big bro.
Clover pants, trying to catch her breath, as she finally reaches her home’s front door.
But, getting chewed out by big bro didn’t matter. She had a new packmate! Who was still a packmate! The wolf pack had made some major advances today. All in all, definitely a big win.
“Hey dad, I’m home!” As the wolf-girl kicks off her shoes and locks the door behind her, she peers into the darkened living room. The man is in a different position on the couch compared to this morning, but he’s still asleep. He doesn’t have any bottles around him, but big bro probably cleaned it all up already.
Clover cheerily heads for the kitchen, then comes to a stop as she finds another sleeping person at the dinner table. Her older brother softly dozes in his chair, cellphone on the table in front of him. It looked like he’d already prepared dinner: two plates were set out, both untouched and most likely a little cold.
