>>5360456>>5360448>>5360405>>5360360>You want to challenge yourself, with your growth in power! Seek out a large ship and find out what the humans are capable of, as well as taking some more prisoners now that you can better communicate.A sensible thing would be to ease your way into understanding your increased power, and start with small targets. But after all you've managed you're feeling pretty confident! Both in wanting to see what you're capable of, and what the humans are. Then, you can better evaluate if you're poised to make some real waves, so to speak.
Leaving your cave and dragging your pet human along then, you return to the bay of the city and linger beneath the waves in wait. Waiting for a worthy target to reveal itself, but also a chance to observe the humans in such greater magnitude up closer. Curious enough is their insulting affront to the ocean with such a coastal settlement and dependence on the sea, yet for all its size and impressive construction, you find yourself coveting it in a way. Laying waste to Atlantis was a one-sided display of dominance on your part, but you imagine how humiliating it would be for the humans to have to admit your dominance with submission and appeasement, rather than a watery grave.
<span class="mu-b">"This is absurd, how many different kinds of ships do you land walkers need?!"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Those are not ships of my people. The Almhorads occupy the city."</span>
First you had to get used to human vessels on the sea in the first place, back in your home ocean. Then you came to this ocean and had to get used to strange new kinds of ships. Now you'd thought to have adjusted to the "modern" ships, but have been confused by yet again different kinds of human vessels. It seems almost every day you're seeing something new and it bewilders and annoys you.
At least Emil cares to explain some vague difference, between his people and their style of navy compared with this other bunch of humans he scornfully regards as invaders. Not that you particularly care, but at least you have a reason for all the differences. Either way though you see all manner of ships come and go from the harbor, until eventually after a few days...
<span class="mu-b">"Now <span class="mu-i">that</span> is a big ship... it puts yours to shame!"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"...better that you destroy it then."</span>
This lot of humans that Emil bears resentment for, their ships are much lower in the water and elongated, with many strange sails and thus faster. Thankfully as well, with a familiar sight of oars on occasion. This particular one is larger than a whale, the biggest you've seen out to sea (some truly massive ones rest in port) and as juicy a target as you're sure to find. Whoever is on board would surely put up a fight, for whatever is on board.
Just a matter of then, how do you want to take action against it? As well, where you want to do so such as close to port for all to witness... but able to be supported and reinforced, or out at sea alone.
>What do you do?
