No. Not at all. I would never do something so unethical.
[MAJORDOMO] "Well, how else are you gonna do it?"
Majordomo. I could simply snub the information I need from their minds by reading it. I could just find out the location of the sacred lighthouse on my own, and memorize the song by reading the priest's mind. I don't require an instrument to replicate sounds. I can manipulate my sound waves with my Spiritua alone, and perfect this song that calls Shennu.
[MAJORDOMO] "Yeah well... I mean, sure. But how's this gonna help the relationship Shennu has with mortals? I think it'd be more meaningful if we could convince one of their last worshipers left to come see them and plead. Y'know, for them to stop wrecking boats."
You have a point. But I'm not sure they'll be so easily convinced.
'Priest. What if I told you I could Redeem Shennu?'
[SHENNU PRIEST] "Redeem?"
[OLD CAPTAIN] "If anything's in need of redemption, it's probably us, since we're the ones Shennu is ticked off at in the first place."
'I understand. But I believe I could help change the Dragon's mind and cease whatever grudge it holds against you all. I just need to be able to contact them first, and find out why. I implore you to assist. I am resourceful in the manner of dealings with gods.'
[MAJORDOMO] "Ell oh ell. No we aren't. Not yet at least."
I will be. I just have to try convincing the two.
[SHENNU PRIEST] "..."
[OLD CAPTAIN] "..."
The two of them gave each other a look of debate while studiously looking back to me and pondering my proposition.
[SHENNU PRIEST] "With all due respect, stranger, I appreciate the notion you'd like to help, but I just don't know you."
[OLD CAPTAIN] "Sides, didn't you come in here asking to know what's up? I don't wanna sound rude but if you really knew what you were doing I don't think you'd need our help. Besides, I already said, I ain't sailing out there again. I was born on the land, so I wanna be buried in it, not at sea."
[SHENNU PRIEST] "...Hargh... if somebody who could invoke the gods wanted to help, I'd just think they'd of done something about Wolfman first. That's the kind of person I'd trust."
I wasn't looking forward to a fight, but I did have an assortment of items Hale had given me before I set out to help in my travels.

>"I offer to deal with Wolfman. If I am able to pacify this upstart Demigod, will you help me then in regaining Shennu's trust?"
>I will just have to do without Shennu's worshipers. I will take the information I need mentally and go to summon Shennu now. I can travel the sea easily, I will reach this place.
