Stomping out of the water, you drag by chain yet another Namadan ship ashore.
<span class="mu-b">"Alright, come and get it!"</span>
A triumphant cheer as the Gaelans gathered in wait raise what weapons they have and rush down the beach to attack the ship. This would be the third this week, for this clan alone, and a fairly straightforward way you've found of getting into their good graces. At the same time it also benefits everyone for harassing Namadan ships and alongside the ongoing attacks by the ancient ghost fleet, the invaders are clearly having a very tough time at sea, and surely will need to change their tactics or something in order to cope with all the losses.
Though you find welcome for bringing these other clans the bounty of the sea with endless abundance of fish and such, and for catching them juicy Namadan targets to raid and enslave, the biggest challenge you find is the one you expected; people reconciling you, with the false version of you. You know how difficult it was with Cailinn's clan, and they were a desperate bunch to begin with. These people, are among the coastal clans who were not even faithful to you and merely knew of your... the false you's existence. Although you can earn their acceptance, you can't seem to wrest them away from their traditional sea god. At the very least though, for all your benefit to them, you've secured the support of each of these coastal clans after about a week devoted to each of them. They may not recognize you as their new god, but they stand behind your plan to gather and speak to the clans for some greater purpose.
For sure it would be easier to have gone after the clans who were faithful to the false Tanaloa, but each time you were rebuffed because of their defiance and clinging to the false god, fueled in part by the presence of the merrow hybrids they all have to each of their settlements. Unless you were to resort to violence, which may have sent a bad message around and sullied your reputation, you weren't able to make much progress with them at all. Instead having to seek out the non-faithful coastal clans, who as you know don't accept you religiously but after some difficult adjustment have come to favor you as a force for change in the land.
It's about as much progress as you could have hoped to have made with these coastal Gaelans however, now that the time of the ceremonial meeting is soon to pass. With the last of these non-faithful peoples swayed, it's up to you to decide how you want to go about the meeting.
