The room was filled with a thin layer of incense as the subtle pieces of metal moved about. A few in the room breathed in and out the smoke as their more mortal lungs functioned. The Knights of Dutonis found such a scent to be a constant around the ship but not nearly in such a concentration within this ‘Courtroom’.
If they had not been working with the Mechanicum for such a long time they would have been coughing up a fit. Instead they were just allowing themselves to rest in what was surely a divine gesture for the meeting they were about to attend.
The Magi and Domini did not care much of it, and many even enjoyed its presence. It was one of the many things that demonstrated the purpose of this meeting to be righteous and with the Arch Dominus’s blessing.
The sounds of metal against metal sounded itself through the room as one of the far doors opened. Everyone, even the Knight of Dutonis, stood as the subject emerging from the bowls of the ship went through the area and made his way towards the highest platform.
TalOS stood there for a moment and quickly mapped out all who were in attendance. There were those who showed recognition within the Crusade, Dux Dominus H3VST, Magos L4M, and Magos F0ST. These men, who held control over some of the first Cruisers in the Crusade, had become representatives for powers back on Lucius.
Dux Dominus H3VST was a more intimate voice of the Domini during this Crusade of Expansion. While TalOS was the Arch Dominus he would be the first to admit he was not nearly as close to those who held direct control over.
Magos L4M was the representative for those not of the military but still part of the Crusade. He held a lot of voices under his whim but these were mainly those of Engineers and those of the Logi.
As for F0ST, he was appointed as the representative of Arch Magos K00LT’s will. He held a more fiery spirit that likely matched the expansionist desire of the Arch Magos.
On the other end of things were the humans of the room. The two among them were those presenting the Knight Households of Dutonis, Alexander Navaros and Fredric Borgius. Next to them with a partly sunken face was the Arch Princep of Legio Astorum, Princep K0RE.
As what Happened at the end of every two weeks the fleet of Lucius had met up and with it everyone was able to attend this event. The Council for the coming War if you can call them that.
