She began meowing so food would be delivered.
After not receiving immediately a response, she tried a bit harder.
She got patted on the heat and told to wait.
After several painful minutes she got a half empty bowl of scraps.
Her indignation was so great she barely ate all of it.
After begging for more and having to fend off the stupid green thing she decided to leave.
The bar under the room was filled with people, but none disturbed the cat.
Trying to ignore the bad omen that the demon creature meant.
And so, Lucy’s confidence for being sneaky cat was unrightfully bolstered.
Stepping outside was forcefully being embraced by the cold.
The sun had set and to moon watched over the land in waning shape.
So the cat went back inside and sat next to the chimney.
After getting bored and avoiding the last patrons of the bar she moved up the stairs.
She remembered her room was in the first floor.
She just didn’t remember the door.
So she picked one and began scratching the door.
She wanted back inside.
When the door was opened, her human was not there.
Only some squalid elf.
He looked around not noticing the cat and closed the door again.
She tried meowing, the did make the elf see her next time he opened.
But when he saw the cat he thought he was hallucinating and locked himself back inside.
That was unacceptable to Lucy, she had called twice and the human had not come.
So she meowed with everything she had.
Waking up several people and sending others into a religious panic.
“Gods preserve us!”
“Please All Mother, do not forsake your sons!”
“Fallen star watch over us.”
“Please my goddess, let it be a test and not my ruin.”
Several people joined in chorus to pray the death omen away.
“Lucy! What are you doing. “
A different door opened and her human had stepped out.
He picked up the cat and scolded her for interrupting the other people’s prayers.
Lucy was just confused why the human had come from a different door.
