You return to the atrium, just in time to see Mekanorimon get slammed straight into a wall. It smashes into a pillar and falls into a heap, sparking and smoking. As you sprint over to the downed Digimon, the hatch pops open to reveal an unharmed Commandramon.

Commandramon points to the first floor. The battle has progressed across the entirety of it, leaving a massive trail of destruction. DarkTyrannomon's tail has whipped numerous pillars and storefronts apart, and he's now standing ankle-deep in a large fountain. His black body is steaming with heat, causing the artificial water to evaporate by the bucketful. Porcupamon is hiding behind the waterfall, using it as visual cover from the rampaging giant.
You're nowhere close to defeating him. Your partner has been hanging in there, but you can see that the suit is visibly deflated and scratched up. He's taken heavy damage from the claws and fire, but not as much as if you'd kept him waiting. Mekanorimon is just as banged up, and seems unusable now.

This is stumping you. You thought that Digivolving into a Champion would grant you and Porcupamon enough power to move forward, but you've already been outclassed by this gigantic dinosaur. You're not sure what paths exist, apart from just running. Doc needs slightly more time to rescue his Digimon, but he should be ready to go soon.
"We should pull back. Can he follow us out of the partition?"

Just as Commandramon finishes his sentence, DarkTyrannomon spots your partner behind the veil of water.

You withdraw him into the Digivice before the blast can make contact. Another explosion rocks your world, and the water is boiled into a gigantic wall of steam. More cold water cascades down from the upper levels, refilling the pool bit by bit. He beeps loudly from the Digivice on your wrist.

Commandramon watches in amazement, and you feel a twinge of panic at being forced to reveal another secret to him.
"I did. He should be right out."
