(STORY EVENT: The Character of a Cat.)
It was late at night, and nary a sound was made in the Psyops Bunker. Nobody would have noticed the faint silhouette of a black cat stealthily moving through the dim corridors until she managed to slip up to the surface.
"Aye... I do trust ye'... I jus' can't help meself, Muna."
There wasn't a choice in the matter. Her pride as a feline wouldn't stand for it.
Seannsa left the Bunker, slipping out in the cold of night using her Luck. She had in it mind to strike out for herself, and begin an exodus towards reclaiming her sphere from those seeking to subvert it. While she wholly admits that Muna was right in taking the pragmatic stance... she still had to move. Seannsa would not be idle.
She has to punish those coming against her with her own hands. She swore, by the end of this, she was going to make them pay. Whoever it was. After tonight, she was finally taking a leaf out of Ludwyhn's book and picking a side, and her side was against the Trinity.
"Am I foinally gonna stop bein' a stray?" She wondered. "Who knows... we'll see, I guess..."
...
The clock struck three, in the middle of the night. Seannsa quietly whipped across the empty streets of Eikrise, her shadow passing by the street lights, very few humans still awake at this time. Her goal was to reach Shengesia and infiltrate the Capital herself, on her lonesome if she had to.
"Nyah! Wait up, your cattiness!"
"Hm?!"
Damn it all. The Greymalkins, they followed her.
"I told ye' all not to come after me!" She hissed, meeting them in the middle of the street.
"We're sorry!" Hylan whined.
"We just couldn't let you go all alone!" Faeryn chimed.
"We're nyowt leaving you behind!" Monroe mewled.
She sighed. She didn't want them to follow because she didn't want them with her... she didn't want them to follow because she knew they would be followed in turn. Seannsa peered over her shoulder at the silhouettes approaching from down the street. "Darned it...."
She shifted back into her incarnated self and stood there, arms at her sides as they stepped up.
"Brought some compahnee, I see."
"Actually ma'am, I-I was just, I just-I just wanted some manga but she roped me into this." Spray Guy claimed.
Catastrovania shook her head.
"You know you weren't supposed to leave."
"Aye, but I culdn't stand the ider that there's anywun in this world trying take me place." She said, a subtle remark aimed at prodding Catastrovania for her claims of surpassing Seannsa.
"They wanted me to keep you in one place..." Catastrovania murmured.
"So, are we' gonna come to blows then?"
"I'd prefer not to."
Catastrovania looked like she only wanted to be done with this so she could continue her hobbies in peace. Seannsa didn't feel like fighting her again either. Not that she thinks she'd lose this time....
>Time to convince Catastrovania to step aside. But how...?
