>>5879245It's a buyers market. So many sellers of injuries these days. Really the only thing exotic enough to warrant above-floor prices is Glory, which goes for 3 Bits, and the rest is just 1.
Wasn't it different last time?
But of course, soft-soul.
Market fluctuations.
And gracious Uncle Rabbit, can, inbetween hours of quiet overseeing of deliveries and letters, offer two bits of advice of you trade him a set of soft enough carpets (large ones, please, and long enough to wrap around inconvenient furniture). One is the name of a quite apt investigator. The other is that certain Gremlins are best forgotten by history. Out over across the border, the Vanadian Defense Council claim they tried to overthrown the government. Most of them went missing.
But some *went* somewhere to *go* missing, if you perhaps catch the subtle drift of dreams, and if a man builds half-gods from industry and machinery, wouldn't other men pay quite a large price for such a prize? Some have tried to replicate the procedure ever since.
Rumour you can make gods with the right ingredients tend to make intrepid experimental scientists of anyone with ambition.
But the particular ways and means that Gerean and her corps used to produce their horrid little abominations has bene lost to bombs and blade and government censure.
Though what Uncle Rabbit does when one place grows too hot and the local police too inquisitive is he goes somewhere else for a spell, makes new local friends, and offers them some insight in return for some material favours. It works ever so well. And imagine it: If some men want to build gods, what wouldn't they give to the other men who can show them part of the recipe? Why, if Uncle Rabbit was a different kind of animal - perhaps a keen rat - he might offer some friendly friends from foreign places a little rat hole to hole up in while they worked their particular blend of aggressive noncompliance with government blacklists?
>>5879248You can quite ably hire a professional tutor and some books, who will teach the skill for a single outing. That's paying in coin.
Otherwise it remains a point of Inspiration to learn it forever-more in a flash of late night reading. That's paying in earnest effort.

As for a list of Names, Vaunted and Wanted, oh, maskmate - softsoul - have you ever come to the right place...
There are four men in Rinik's employ with a fair price on their humilation and subsequent delivery to the stern hospitality of the Watchers. Well, the truth: There are far more than four, but the high Icons can sometimes conspire, and it seems of those many, many Names that Rinik employs, four of them are at the Grey Manor.

are you sure you are an entity of such corporeal concerns?
