The first thing TalOS noted that whatever was afflicting these people was not of the Warp. Such a fact was clear as the ribs were cracked and slowly extending in an attempt to attack TalOS. With another flick of his hand the mutation was snapped so that it would remain helpless to what TalOS was doing.
The next thing that was noted was that there was no soul within the creature. No longer was this a simple human but a husk that was being puppetered by the cancer resting upon its neck. Where the soul went TalOS wondered for the Warp was not upset from the numerous deaths occurring around it.
When TalOS thought that a simple counter was made to that assessment. That puppeteering might be exactly what is happening here.
With a thought TalOS tested the Motive Force around the creature. It was an odd examination that showed him that there was <span class="mu-i">some kind</span> of connection.
There was no such thing as a real or a fake Motive Force to the understanding of TalOS. As he looked upon this creature that was evident as he noticed there was no tell tale sign of it being different. How it was being used thought showed TalOS that whatever was forcing this man to become a mutant was a master of it. And that it was trying to attack him from this life form.
TalOS swatted the feeble attempt away.
Then TalOS did another exploration of the body that was before him and found that whatever was controlling this creature was causing the mutations. Just as TalOS moved machines, whatever was controlling these mutants were moving the cells around in ways that should not be imagined. With a few slices of his scalpel TalOS removed to examine the cancer that was resting on the creature’s neck. This, this thing was what was pulling upon the strings of life to make the mutation the way it was.
There was likely more to learn but this was a great discovery for TalOS to have made. With a thought he sent it through the Noosphere to his ship to deliver the news to Malcador for further research. As TalOS was upon the Battlefield he wondered what to do.
